West 3.5.10
Launched from Pirates around 3PM and ran over to Confederates got to my spot and threw my tackle box with nothing. Wind was blowing hard (harder than it was when I went over causeway)
I had Cody with me, it was his birthday we both just wanted to get a line wet. We ran the south shoreline back in staying out of the wind. Hooked into one of the Bayous and drifted it with no luck, we did see some bait but nothing impressive.
Went into State Park and saw 3 guys wading, drank a beer and came back in for dinner. No luck on any fish but fun just being out there!
I wish I would have gone West out of Pirates as opposed to East yesterday think it would have been more productive & protected in the short time that we had.
