Meet up with Scott this morning at Fat Boys to enjoy a little time on the water. We entered the bay on an outgoing tide and 15 mph North wind switching out of the West at about the same the water clarity was clear – stained & the water temp. was 52 deg. We were expecting to assonate the trout with the low pressure and it didn't disappoint us. We started the day wading areas concentrating on mud and shell bottom with corkys and mirrolures in various colors. The areas didn't produce so me tried our hand at drifting some reefs Scott managed the land a 25" trout so I snapped a few shots and she was released to fight another day.

A few yakers moved in so we moved out to drift the mid bay mud streaks. There were a few boats drifting the streaks so we joined in the fun. We made about five or six drifts picking up nine trout and two reds using soft plastics in strawberry & white it didn't matter what style just anything strawberry & white.

After the bite came to a screeching halt we moved to the last stop and waded this is where we picked up the last two keeper trout of the day. We were back at the dock a little after 1pm with eleven trout and two reds.

Going back out in the morning to do it again....

i don't know how i missed you today but i did. julie (hell on reels) and i went out around 11 and drifted for awhile. i picked up a 22 inch red and missed one fish. we went and drifted a cove and picked up a few more trout and a 19 inch red. we came back and saw some mullet and stopped and picked up some more smaller trout. we caught about 10 trout, keeping 4 and one redfish. largest trout around 17. they seem to be more or less between markers 2 and 3.

Nice job. I'm with Chip, I think it's gonna be a crowded day on the water.

Nice catches folks. I waded spoil reefs 1:00 to dark and had five trout 3-5#s and change and one red. I kept one trout for dinner tomorrow. All the fish came on regular Corkys Prl/Chrt and pnk/gld. I lost the pink one on a good fish and was cut off on the shell.

            Rough Coming In

I forgot to biatch about the wind and rough as a cob water coming home. I shoulda run the N shoreline all the way back and cut straight across! Spray all over my jacket...now it'll be wet and clammy in the morning.

Ol' Keith was a machine today! He was catching most of the keepers while I was messing with a ton of schoolies.

I look like hell in that pic. My wife got a good laugh!
