West Bay 2/2

Have not made a report in a while but have been doing alot of fishing in West.

Yesterday had a party of 3 and they caught close to a hundred Trout. Came back to the dock with 3 limits of Trout from 15 1/2" to 20". All caught drifting the streaks on the upper end in 4 to 5' of water. Water was in great shape. These guys easily let another 3 limits of keeper Trout go. Didn't keep anything between 15 and 15 1/2". Caught a ton of Trout just barely over the 15" mark. Trout were caught on plum Assassins and Bone Diamond Assassins.

Fishing in West Bay has been pretty stupid for the last 3 weeks with limits being caught very easily. Wading or drifting hasn't mattered. The Trout are thick in the coves and over the shell/mud mix in the middle of the bay.

I'm ready! I'm sure we could find some use for him. Cleaning fish is probably out though . Maybe drive the boat or something. I may run out there next Wednesday and play around some. Thursday I have a trip and Friday I'm headed to Austin for the Cabelas spring fishing show. You got anything going Wednesday?
