Meet up with Scott at Fat Boys at 11:00am to try our luck at some mid day wading. After the first spot didn't produce we drifted a mid bay mud streaks. We made six or seven drifts picking up a few each drift. We ended up with six trout and two reds with numerous under size reds & trout all on chart. soft plastics. Scott wanted to hit one more spot before dark so we left the fish biting on the drift at about 3:30pm. We got to the spot and in the water at about 4:00pm. This is where the smack was laid down Scott missed two solid fish back to back. He had a sick look on his face and all I could do was laugh. He was using a corky devil notorious for allowing big girls to escape with the single hook but the color seemed to be what they wanted pearl/ chart. Therefore, I tied on a pearl/chart fat boy 2nd cast a solid trout was my prize. Scott switched over to a pearl/chart. mirrolure and he picked up two solid trout. We fished until after dark picking up a few more fish all being solid fish. We ended the day with eleven trout and two reds. Thanks, Scott for the invite I owe you one.
