Awesome way to start the week!
Met a buddy at fatboys at noon to go find some fishes. tide was way out. Waded some flats near guts with no success. Tides started coming in mid afternoon, pretty hard.
Found a BUNCH of reds in our 3rd spot. We ended up catching 30 to 40 reds. Most of them were in the slot. caught them on limetreuse sand eels, pink paddle tails, and a couple on mirrolures.
Why couldn't it be a redfish tournament day?
The only bait we saw was a glass minnow i foul hooked with a mirrolure.
Not one trout.
