  • West Bound in the Fog.

Hop & I made it out of FAt Boys around 8:30. It took us awhile to put out. It's a little eerie sitting at Bobby's Out turning the motor off and listening to see if we can here any barges or tugs going buy. They usually don't travel when the fog gets that thick but I find comfort in being a little extra carefull.
We finally made the jump and headed to the middle of the bay (Meacoms area). We've it the area a few times lately and things are heating up.
We fished the normal winter patern till around 1:00 and boated around 30 specs from 14 to 19 and 2 small reds.
We hit them in streaks. We had 4 or 5 doubles. Only took a pic of one of the doubles. Not to many Kodak momments today.

Nice work. The fog was thick yesterday!

I called off our duck hunt yesterday morning on account of the fog and conditions just wasn't that mad at 'em!

Glad you got out and found some. It was as thick as soup -- I opted for a day riding the couch.

                      Mullet

Good info on the barges.....I did the same thing yesterday around North Deer and my son asked why I cut the motor off. Later that day I got to show him why up close as there was barges running in that mess down around Chocolate. You could not even see the entire barge at one time. Kinda erie looking and dangerous if your not careful. Thanks for sharing with everyone. Gater
