Thanks for the report Plugger. Sea Isle is GPD jurisdiction. BTW, the kind of mean cop (grey haired) at JBPD died last week of a massive heart attack (at the Valero), so maybe less "enforcement" of silly laws.

Great report and pictures plugger! We had a similar incident on Friday with a wader being dropped off. The guy came out of the marsh and fished through the cove. I looked back and he was getting out to cross to the next one. I bet he was whooped after stomping around in that mudhole.

JOHNNY QUEST, I've never had any problem with the SEA ISLE POLICE. SHALLOWIST, thanks and I'll take you up on a fish together. I remember 2001 , you were just coming out of a sad Florida time. I've got big ears.

way to go Plugger!! there were some decent trout in the cove earlier in the week. front may have moved them out. go find some mud and a mullet or two from here on and you should be able to grind out a couple of nice trout. Love the pictures. Stay in touch, I owe you a good wade for being such a good ear back in 2001...

    END

As I was loading, a 23 year old college student and resident named John drove up in his golf cart and we talked . I got him to take my picture with the 21 incher. Another good day on the water.

    Continued

Fished around the geotubes and several sets of gulls on the water with nothing. Usually they are sitting on fish. Maybe I wasn't trowing what they wanted . I tried plastic, broken backs ,corky devils and skitterwslks. Getting dark, gave the island one more shot and then back to the truck at 6 PM. I tried to delete the last crummy pic, but didn't know how.

    Continued

Went past the critics , who weren't happy at my passing, and into the marsh on the east side of Snake Island Cove looking for reds. Went around there with no strikes . There was a boat in the middle of the marsh that arrived just prior to me getting there. It came in on plane with loud music playing the whole time and jabbering away as they fished. Wonder if they caught any reds ? Finally, left the marsh and back to the geotubes and talked to a wader who I had been watching for hours. Young guy who had been dropped off in waders and a TIE SHIRT. I was cold just looking at him, but he didn't seem bothered. Wish I had thought to get a picture of him. He said he had picked up 3 reds on " the hump " in the back of the cove and 2 16" flounders at the geotubres. He was throwing plastic.
