Back during the summer my dad hooked into a shark right next to shell isle while we were drifting, like you said, ours was close to 7 feet. We chased all over the place and it eventually wore down the 12lb test and got away.

I would have had to have those steaks to go along with those teeth.

I was wade fishing Shell Island a few months ago on a guided trip with the Pimp, and something brushed my lower leg. I told AP about it right after it happened and he just laughed and said it was probably a mullet. But it did make me wonder. I was wearing long pants.....which I had to go and empty. lol

I hope that is that ******* that ate my stringer this summer. He sucked and was a buzz burner for sure. he was my a hole of the week earlier this summer. You have any pictures of the mouth for ID. If it is not a mako it would be the largest blue shark i have ever seen

                      Most unusual. Thanks for posting.

Wonder how it ended up in the bay?
Probably couldn't breath right due to the brackish water.

Did you go back and get the jaw/teeth?

I missed this during the season, that is an awesome find though.

Very unusual, but makes you think.
