10/31 report

Wind - ENE 5-10
water - dirty
tide - lower then usual
area fished - south shoreline coves

Donna and I hit the water at 7:00 am and I did not notice the tide was lower then usual, so I beached her in the first cove, which was fine. Throwing SS JR Black, not one blow up. Donna was throwing gulp on 1/4 oz gig and caught 18" trout and 16" flounder. I changed to plastic and caught 19" red on the way back to the boat.

Went to another cove, jumped in and nothing for the first 15-20 minutes and then it turned on. Between Donna and I we caught 14 keeper trout and Donna caught another 3 flounder.

Left that cove and went to one other and all I can day is DEAD! Went home and relaxed.

Total - 14 keeper trout, 4 keeper flounder and 1 rat red - all released to fight another day!

good report! i hit n. shore early ..no bites so i guess we do have some fish in the coves! need a couple more cold frts and get the shrimp out in the bay!!!
