Redfish Tourney

Albert and I started on the south shoreline and caught lots of fish, but only 2 keeper reds. We had fish in the box and left in search of an upgrade. We ran all over the bay system and caught lots of nice trout and undersize reds, but could not find any bigger reds. We finally hit the go to spot and found only 1 bigger red, so we searched a few new areas in search of something, but still only found trout. It was a beautiful day on the water and a great tournament.
It was good to meet a few more of the guys that I hadn't met yet.

same with team "NO BOAT" during the tourney.we caught some good trout,but only managed one 22" red.it was nice to met all you guys and put some faces with the names.i had a pretty good consolation.here is a picture.38",17lbs.he would have spooled me if i would'nt have run after him in waist deep water.great battle on light tackle.

It was a great tournament. Coe, Avery's is a cool place to have weigh-in's. It is always nice to see everyone. Flapper that was a stud Red you caught....awesome job in shallow water.

WTG Guys, it was a tough day I'm sure to find them Reds! or at least slot ones, Congrats to all!
Wish I could have made it out, no kitchen pass here!
We ran a Yard Sale, oh brutha never again! I'm off a few more days and just got to go wet that line!!!!

Like Chip said, there were a lot of trout out there. We jumped in around 7:00 am and I caught 8 keeper trout and the 2 reds by 8:00 am using all black SS JR. Donna had a nice trout and a 19 inch red. After that it was dead for us. We moved to some other spots and the same thing, nothing. We then went to one of the coves we like to fish and caught another 10 keeper trout and a rat red.

i think "bounty hunter" was at the deer lease to settle a score with a buck.
