  • 10/12, I love Mondays

Fished all over West Bay and some reefs in Chocolate today with a good friend and student. Shaun (bigfoot) Goodwin, Shaun was an All American at University of Texas and is still trying to play golf professionally. We got off to an early start and had 8 trout on the stringer before 8:30 when a storm ran us off our spot, we headed to the south shoreline and picked up a flounder and a 28 inch 9lb redfish. We tried some spots down that shoreline to no avail. We finished off our day in Chocolate with 3 more nice trout. All in all it was one of those days that could have easily been a day to remember

11 trout, 1 flattie and a huge slot red.

Pics of Bigfoot, the fish and a pic of what trout eat for breakfast

                    Great report and pics. Thanks.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. The redfish had a 22 inch sand eel in its stomach, per Shaun.
