  • Weekend Slam

Fished in the GRS on Saturday. The bite was good early on topwaters, but most of the fish were around 20"-24".....not good enough to place. Ran north and south in West Bay. Tryed fishing Greens, but was it covered with Pilgrims. Found one fish in the ICW Spoil, along the rocks. We then ventured to Cambell's, but only found Trout. Eased over to the North Shoreline of Pelican Island and fished the grass....nada. It was a very frustrating day, but that's fishin. On the bright side, I did roll a slam.

I ran around about as much as you did and came out of it with a decent flattie and some dink trout. 77 miles.
I work just enough to pay for my fishing habit.

          Gee, tough fishing. Nice slam.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. Congrats on the Slam! From the reports and weigh-in we had Saturday fishing was tough for everyone. I know a lot of folks that would have loved to have caught some 20-24 inchers.
