  • Strange Encounter

Took a friend fishing the other day,we were drifting some shell catching a few fish here and there.

Buddy hooks a gafftop then flipped it in the boat to remove the lure. It started releasing it's young from it's nasty mouth as soon as it makes it in the boat.

Ever seen this before? I imagine it was carrying it's young around. The strange thing is that it hammered a mirrolure with 50 or more babies in its gullet.

good point, let it be known that I rubbed the buddies nose in the pile of gafftop babies like he was a dog that had just peed on the floor

Maybe you could have put the babies on the hook? A lot of fish will eat other fishes babies! Maybe it could have landed a real Whopper of a fish!
