Friday 1/27/12

I am somewhat new to the forum, and this is my first post. This past saturday afternoon I got out on the water with my new setup (Chronarch with FTU Green Rod). Fished south shore line, first cast I hooked up. When I set the hook, i totally forgot to set my drag! birds nest! I pulled my line out and reeling the line in, and to my suprise the trout was still on! sweet surprise with my new setup. had to book it back in to cook dinner for some people. 19 inch trout. I am glade Coe introduced me to this site, looking forward to a good year for me and the rest of you West End Anglers.
