Where are some good spots for wading around west bay

Any protected shoreline. Get out there & learn the bottom structure like all of us

Scholes airport area is a good place to start then start working West to SLP you'll soon find your favorite spot. GISP is an easy access spot (Galveston Island State Park)

When I first started wading, I went down to Academy & got one of those Hot Spot wading maps, shows alot of locations to wade the entire Galveston Bay complex & best times to fish those locations. Good luck.

alright thanks....i just recently moved here and i used to live down by s padre and the fishing and conditions is so much more different and dont know the area to well ive been to 8 mile and sportsman i tried the sea wall but ive never really been a big surf guy we also go to this spot down skyline at the dike and do pretty good but one spot gets old after a while

Behind San Luis Pass near the condos is a popular wading spot. Look to the right as you approach the toll booth and you should see some vehicles parked down there to give you an idea where to go.

The surf has been excellent lately. Don't write it off.

Def check out the surf. Early morning bite has been excellent. Normally shuts off around 930. I'm looking to try scholes field myself... Happy hunting.
