    Thur 6 16
took a father son duo that had taken a 12 hr party boat trip 80 miles and didnt catch anything the day before on thur am decided on live shrimp with the conditions 15-20 gusting to 25...hit up some s shore coves early found the rat reds caught about 20 to 25
then some nice size croaker came in as fast as we could drop shrimp!! we went through a quart by 8:30 am mixed in some puppy drum and i had a couple of happy anglers aboard we had a catch to take note of... a sm redfish with no spots on either side! ive never seen that in all my years here...i saw Joe Kent mentioned it in todays paper....weird
Friday 6 17 took an afternoon trip with a party of one...didnt like the conditions ...20 mph plus but my client said it was his last day here and really wanted to go so off to the S Shore coves!first drift picked up a 21" red Second drift BIG THUMP!! 26" Red couple of more drifts produced a couple of short strikes off to another cove
caught a mullet in the mouth all caught on 3" bayou thumpers by Marsh works in Voodoo Brew...finished up w some live shrimp in a protected cove found another 25" red
and more croaker and blk drum pulled into sea isle at 9 pm for a shrimp basket and to hang out with the world reknowned playboy JT!!!!

thanks glen. see any fishable water anywhere?
hell on reels caught this 22 inch spotless red a little over a week ago. i've seen a few without spots but never a keeper so i told her to get a camera and i'd take a pic. on her way to the back of the boat she stepped on her hook and stuck it past the barb. we did a hook extraction and she tied her hook back on and kept on fishing. one fish, two memories. lol

Sweet job Glenn, way to get them on some fish a lot closer than 80mi!

My buddy Alex who posts here on occasion caught a low-slot "oversize croaker" a few years back, cool thing for sure.
