Met up with Dpop, Flapper, and TTU Wader yesterday morning at Fat Boys at 545am. The wind was already starting to blow a little bit out of the south and the tides were once again extremely low. Maybe 4" deep at Fat Boys.
Got to the first spot and jamin (Flapper) started the Trout beat down early as he caught the first 2 within 5 minutes. Alex (TTUWader) wasn't far behind as he started whacking them out a little deeper. Finally Dpop and myself got things going aswell as we connected on several Trout. We mainly worked over one area around a shell/mud mix working Corkys in off colored water. I think the final total was around 30 Trout and 6 or 7 slot Reds. By noon the wind was really humping and had alot of that grass moss crap floating everywhere making it hard to work a Corky.
Note: only 3 Trout were harmed on this Assault. All others released LOL.
Good fishing with ya'll again Dpop, Flapper, TTU. The fish always seem to be in trouble when this group goes out LOL
