We started the day off in the same area that Moe's fish were caught yesterday. We made long drifts midbay in 3-5' of mud/shell and the 5" Plumb/Cht SWBA seemed to be what they wanted. We boated a dozen or so fish, but most were just under the slot. The final keeper count was 5trout and 1red, but we opted to not weigh-in and head to the house to spend a little time with the kiddos. I'm guessing we would have weighed 4-5# with the live bonus and release. I bet my partner has them released in the grease or over hot coals right now. LOL!
It was a good time and I think Confederate could use a little break for a week or two. We made a run over there and it looked like the parking lot of a Toys-R-Us at Xmas time.

Very impressive stringers were brought in and congrats to the winners!!!

I decided to hit it this evening and managed 2 trout.... But agree ir needs a break. There where people every where. Everywhere . I actually decided wade east side of south deer and had some yahoos follow me and actually do circles around me casting at me. They followed me from first small reef to north end of island

You said it! I was thinking of wading there yesterday but it was too packed! I didn't want to pot-lick the guys in the tournament either.
