Decided to bring along my dad and two cousins to TAMUG so they can key in on the action of sheepheads from yesterday. While it was slow compared to yesterday, we managed 8 sheepheads between 16-22 inches. All of the fish combined weighed around 29 pounds. However, what was amazing was that a few weeks ago while I was at TAMUG, a fish broke off. Today, one of the sheepheads had the same leader set up still in its mouth! Everything was exactly the same from the hook, swivel, leader line and main line. I was, to say the least, stunned. I hope everyone who went out today had as much success as I did!

Nice report! I've done that same thing twice before -- I hung a bass in lake livingston with a spinnerbait that broke off and the very next cast I caught the same bass with my spinnerbait in its mouth -- then once offshore I was messing with a school of bonita off the shrimp boat and one broke me off and I caught him a bit later with my leader still in his jaw. pretty crazy!Shut up and FISH!!
