A sweet tater and some leftover edamime beans here. Momma told me the Confederate soldiers lived on sweet taters. They were all skinny, so I'm tryin' it.

Maybe I should try that! Deer meat is actually pretty good for you. Not to be stupid but what is a edimime bean?

I don't know what they are. They were on the manager's special at Kroger. So I got 2 big bunches. They looked kind of like snow peas, so I cooked 'em up at the camp and Kylie and his bud like'd 'em. They're really good, but a pain in the butt to eat. Their husk is partly great to eat and partly inedible. It's kind of like eating an artichoke with lima beans sandwiched inside each leaf. I'm not crazy about the labor intensiveness, but they taste awesome.

                Ripe soybeans.

They are currently popular to the health food crowd.
