Bert is 7 to 8 sheets to the wind, and so is his company. But so far, nobody has fallen in the water. I'll update that if it changes. We got all the pilings in today. The general consensus was to let them set for a week, so we commenced with the partay. Lots of great food. I think I ate at least 30 oysters, along with various other goodies. My beef ribs went so quick that I had lots of complaints. I didn't even get any! Folks fishin' off the dock, me and primer watchin' TV. Fat Albert licking his nether regions.

It was a great day with perhaps a record number of folks at the camp. Pics and story when I get home. - Sandy

Talk about a hard time getting out of bed this morning, every bone in my body hurt's. Like a buddy of mine use to say, there's nothing like good food and good friend's to share it with, had a great time Sandy.

Sorry I cut out on you guys last night. I got so cold all I could think about was getting a warm shower and getting under some blankets. Had a great time and really enjoyed meeting everybody. All the food was great Sandy. Life is good.

How were the oysters ? Did 2112 get them from the OYSTER HOUSE ? When I took my wife and daughter fishing 11-6-2010 , we ate lunch at the OUTRIGGER and they were way small . Had some raw and grilled . I asked before I ordered and the waitress said they were small . They need some more time in colder water , I think .

The oysters were perfectly sized. I don't like them when they get too big. They were not as salty as I'm used to, but they were real good. Turns out Bert likes to put the same amount of horseradish into the cocktail sauce as I do. VJER's putting some finishing touches on the bathroom window and everyone is cleaning up ready to head out. I'll stay and watch the Texans game then Albert and I will head in.

Next weekend I'm going to make it out here Saturday through Tuesday and really get the place in shape. Vic seems to think we can also get the shed dried in. I don't think that'll happen though. I need to get some T1-11 and that'll take a couple of weeks. We'll get it framed for sure, and get the walkway done.
