HELP! fish this Saturday or not?

I have a fishing trip planned this Saturday with a couple of buddies. We had planned on going out of Sea Isle early morning. Now that the weather has turned colder I am doubting the trip. The wind is supposed to turn and be from the east at 6mph Sat morning after being strong from the north for several days.

Will the fishing be any good at all that day or should I postpone the trip? Will there be enough water to get around west bay and the some of the back bays or should we move down the road?

I really would like to make a quick decision because my guests are coming from Ft Worth and staying with us at our home on the far west end.

I would be fishing if I weren't going hunting. The solunar/tide calendar in this months Texas Saltwater Fishing Magazine is showing 4 stars all day (new moon) with a High at 2:47 am, Low at 10:35 am, and a High at 6:44 pm. The times need to be adjusted for west bay, but hopefully that gives you an idea. This front might even get the bigger flounder to start moving too, plus w/ a light wind on Saturday, you could try and chase birds for trout and then fish some marsh drains for reds and flounder. This weekends forecast is looking great. The fishing will be fantastic! I will be out both Sat and Sun. Sat I will be leaving out of Sea Isle myself. The reefs are holding fish, the coves are holding fish, look for birds working out in the open bay, and just about all the shorline are holding fish. What a great time of year.

This weekend is gonna be GREAT

The water may be low for the lakes, but all open shorelines willbe good as well as the reefs.

Tide is down hard right now, and with 40+ mph NW winds tomorrow. The tide is gonna rip every ounce of water out of the marsh which is gonna seriously turn on a MAJOR bite ... If the water comes back up to normal levels, the lakes will be outstanding in the back country as well

Fish, drink, hunt and play-what else is there? If ya aint fishing, you should be hunting-regardless, both entail drinking!
