Last weekend visited a friend in Corpus for fishing. We went out Friday and Saturday. Considering the conditions we did pretty good.
Friday was tough. Winds were gusting, water was dirty and on a scooter it made for a little bit of a wet ride. But, we were prepared with our gear and had our ski hats...lol
We found the pattern pretty quickly (deep) and proceeded to catch trout all day. We had to move to different places since the trout were pretty skittish. Plastics only. Trout were very tentative on the strikes.
Saturday was a much better day weather wise. Minimal wind, clean water. Trout were still skittish. Ended up catching 2 flounder, one of them over 20inches. Had a Texas Slam. Before this, I had never caught a flounder in the LM.
Had a great time!
