  • crabs on the pit?

    saw a thread where they were cooking crabs on the pit . never cooked em that way . we always boil em .would like tips , recipies etc. sure looked good. thanks.

    They are great that way. I like to take the cleaned bodies, put a pat of butter in the middle, sprinkle with tony c's and grill them for about 10 minutes over medium coals.

          The BBQ should work, but don't overdo 'em or burn 'em.

          Sartin's invented BBQ crabs but them crabs are cleaned (top shell off, gills off, washed), coated in a special dry rub similar to Tony Cacherrie's, and fried in oil. I can say they are very tasty that way too.

          But that caused some confusion, see what I mean?
