Airshow Weekend
For those with no plans this weekend, don't forget about the airshow at Ellington Field this weekend. NASA has some airplanes you have got to see that may be history in the near future. The Guppy and the 747 (shuttle transport) among others.

I saw a unusual 747 flying kinda low near LaPorte today, makes sense now. It was a distinctive white and blue. My first thought was it was AF-1 but that's NASA colors to, it must have been the Shuttle carrier heading to Elington.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBLbrJxGtro
Not that much different than a Karankawa indian hunting the shallows at night with a torch and a spear. -
AW MAN! It was this time last year that I had a P-51 buzz the camp a couple times. He dipped his wings, and came around for another pass. It was exactly like the scene in Empire of the Sun. I was even screaming, "Cadillac of the sky!" I think he was just saluting the flag as an old Confederate Airforce man would. Hopefully we'll get to see some old warbirds flying around out there this weekend.From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. guys and gals,
i don't post on here often but i troll a lot.
my company sponsors a tent at the airshow every year and if you want a place to grab a drink, sit down and maybe have a snack and use the potty, you can go to the tent at the 111th or 144th airborne (can't remember) and simply tell the gaurd that you are a friend of B-W Grinding and they will let you in. don't forget to take you kids to this. it is awesome!! it is usually in the middle of the strip. compliments of The Tiki Kid enjoy!Comment
