  • *** Public Service Reminder To All Jon Boaters ***

Remember to install your drain plug before putting your boat in the water. It is no fun trying to pull a boat to shore with 40 gallons of water in it.

Reminds me of fishing with my inlaws last sunday niight. His drain plug leaks so I told him to put some 3m marine caulking. He just used the holmes depot kitchen caulking. We were and the sunken ship near the ferry. I checked and there was 4 inches of water. Bilged and buggies on out of there.

*** FWE Decal Saved My Jon Boat ***

Maybe this is how I should have titled my thread.

I have FWE decals on the side of my jon boat. I was putting in at Lutes around 9:30pm and I noticed the water line creeping up fast to the decals and that is when I realized I screwed up. It was too dark for me to see the water filling the boat.

The first AND last time I ever took the Mudda out, I forgot the plug.

By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary.
