Evidently I can only burn 15 of the 20 gallons I have in my tank. Not sure if the supply hose is too high on the tank or what. Once I filled it back up it fired right up. Who builds a boat without a fuel gauge?? As to the arse that covered me up with waves all I can say is Karma is a bi@#$!! My son and I did at least manage to catch dinner in all the wind before all this crap went down. Picked up a couple of reds in the Diversionary on pearl spinners.

Mike, unfortunately some folks REALLY are born with their heads up their tails and there's no hope for them. Some folks REALLY don't give a %^&&
at all what happens and that really sux, cause they might know better. Some folks REALLY don't have a clue what a true sportsman is and its REALLY too bad no one taught them. The sad fact of the matter is that these situations REALLY are happening more and more. Then there are the guys/gals on this board who REALLY do care and are REALLY true sportspeople and thats REALLY great. Let us know about the boat - hope nothing serious.

Believe it or not the exact same happened on my current sled. The pick up line was so high from the bottom of the tank I ran out of gas with 5gl still in the tank.
Curious...Do you have a tank you can see the level of fuel, I'm gonna say, no.

Nope I cant see the fuel level -- tank is fiber-glassed into the hull under the console. I'm gonna lengthen the pickup line a bit after I get a bit of this gas run out of it.

I hate it when folks take their boat for a walk-I can understand taking a dog for a walk, but not a boat- and they invariably get into my path and expect me to slow down-nope. Next time walk your boat somehwere else like on a sidewalk!!

It might be placement in the tank-if the mfg put it dead center, then when running the gas is in back end of tank-most mfgs know better and put gauge in center and pick-up tube near aft end of tank. On my Robalo, it says empty when I got 15 gallons left because gauge is in center and pick up is in aft-made me wonder for years if I really had a 120 or 100 gallon tank because it would read empty and never fill above 100 gallons-it is 120 gallons-the last 15-20 wasn't reading. Sounds like your tube may be in center???
