Hey Sandy, What Was On Fire?

Did you see it??
We headed out before dawn and there was a big fire way West. It was impossible to tell how far. Maybe the spoil banks but looked closer to the South shore.

Looked like it was comming from one of the plants around Freeport. I kept that fire ball directy in front of the boat as I made my way from Fat Boys to Sea Isle this morning in the dark. Made running a little easier.

Yep, just the flare at Dow, it was really rocking when I got off work this morning.

I didn't wake up 'til 8am. But I was just talkin' to 2112 here on the porch and he mentioned it. He said it was quite a conflagration (my word). . My guess is that it had to be a Freeport refinery like these guys were sayin'. Bert woke up to take a pee and saw it. I was dead to the world at that time, in "Fishin' Camp Hypersleep".

Did you guys notice the weird illumination it produced directly over the flare. It looked like a orange laser that started about a mile over the flare and shot straight up.
