You never know who you'll meet at the ramp. It could be an artist like this or a "crystal meth carpenter". LOL! I'm glad I met Dan and I'm very thankful to him for doing this for me at such a huge discount. When I priced a commissioned painting from all the artists at the boat shows and fishing shows, I never got a single quote for less than $500. I had completely given up on the idea. Dan quoted $150. I mean heck, there are prints that go for that much.

Kenny, you might be interested to know that Aunt Catherine did these 2 paintings as a student at Newcomb. You knowing art, you probably know Newcomb. For the rest of you, Newcomb is the women's college at Tulane University. Anyway, her professor thought she was terrible, called her a "Hack". That was the end of her painting. I can't wait to tell her that a college art professor really loved her painting of the Old Man's camp. She's going to be ecstatic. She's barely hanging on these days and any little thing means a lot to her.

Oh, I will not have any of these paintings at the camp. It's not the place for paintings. When I pack up for an evacuation, as I have twice since I moved here, they go along with my family Bible, which begins in 1804.

Wow...Very nice I love it. I might want his #. My parents have a river house, and that would be an awesome gift for them.

Bert, Tres won't be back until the 17th. I think I remember that reeltime and spouse wanted to come, but I couldn't get them on the phone. If he comes and you and Sean come, we're already full up already unless someone wants to sleep on the air mattresses. I usually throw out my invites on Wednesdays, so I'll do so now. - Sandy

Yep, I fully admit that was one of my all time worst judgements. The guy was fine at first, but then he kept drinking my beer. And well, y'all were there but I wasn't. Cody told me all about it.
