Planning to head out Friday and stay 'till Sunday's sunset. Need some peace and quiet after the first week of school. No idea yet who's comin'. Funk Shoal Brutha says he's comin', but I've been hearing that for over 3 years. If anyone's interested, let me know. - Sandy

I'm working these next 2 weekends.
Sean wants to fly down from Washington state on my long change to do some serious gigging. He is a class act. I'll give you the details soon and hopefully his visit will coencide with a weekend you will be there.
I believe you've meet him once already with approval.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBLbrJxGtro

Sounds good Bert. I'll be out there every weekend 'til Thanksgiving. The weekend of Sept. 17th may be a bit cramped if you were thinking that one. I guess it will depend on if we have bunk beds built by then. From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."

You know me. I'd be happy to just sleep on the the dock after gigging all night like I sometimes do.
The temps should start to moderate down by then as well.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBLbrJxGtro

Well hell, it sounds like it's going to be a big time.
Maybe I can borrow some professional portable recording equipment.
Sometimes I have such a good time bullshieting I'd assume to just sit on the
porch than hit the water, especialy if there is a decent wind happening but Sean
is the best gigger I've ever known and he's the only one I will trully let take total control
and "Captain" my rig. You can bet, if we get the clear to stay that weekend that when it gets dark,
I dont care if the wind is a steady 20mph, Sean is going to hit the middle of the pass and we will limit out.Last edited by 2112; August 27, 2010, 11:42 PM.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBLbrJxGtro

I'm sure we can work it out Bert.
Today looks like it's going to be a full house, but tomorrow it'll be just me after the morning. From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."

An awesome day today!
New guy, also named Sandy caught the biggest flounder off the dock since Ike.
24.5 inches! Thing was a BEAST. Also caught 2 keeper reds and 2 nice trout off the dock. It was a really cool day hanging out with Dean, Vic, Kylie, Blake, and Sandy. It was definitely cool to meet another guy named Sandy.
And the Cowboys lost badly to the Texans, so everyone's happy.

Havin' fun is the name of the game. Just saw another mouse. Where's Primer when you need him?
Hopefully Kylei and Sandy will post pics soon.

24 1/2'' !
YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY...
I swear to the almighty. Big Founder in shallow h20 is very excedingly rare.
Over 22' and most become denziens of deep channels but Ray did pop one 24 out of the boat one night,,,I chalk it up to a lucky night.
What part of the dock did it come from and please dont tell me it came from the first north drain out of the marsh.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBLbrJxGtro
