Anegada Pics of the Day - Trolling on the reef

It is so quiet here. This is the off-season, and most businesses are closed. We have very, very few visitors to the island right now.

We took our new-to-us Whaler out for some reef trolling this afternoon. Lightweight spinning gear, soft plastic swim baits.

Nancy got a nice hind.


It had some kind of parasite that I have not noticed before. No problem - was gone after we cleaned it.


She also got a decent blue runner.


Me - I got a hind that was at least larger than the bait.


A blue runner.


And a lizard fish.


It ain't a Haynie, but it is in our front yard - in the Caribbean.
