Nice going BW. As far as checking your coolers, I believe that having the "cooler" gives them the right to inspect it since "No Acohol" signs were posted. He couldn't search a purse though, but since a cooler gives reason for suspicion, he can check IMO.

Driving a car doesn't mean someone has a drivers license but a cop cannot pull you over just to check and see if you do or not...

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

He would have to see you drinking a beer or getting a beer out of the ice chest in order to search it without a warrant... Just having a sign posted No Beer Allowed is not a just reason for a illegal search of the ice chest.
