MY bro has a meeting there on Thursday. We'll be driving up tomorrow night and leaving Thursday afternoon. So I'll have all Thursday morning to soak it up. The belly of the Kennedy beast I call it. Hopefully I'll find enough history to enjoy the place. I plan to get a ticket on the hop on - hop off tour bus and see as much as I can see in the short time I have there. Anything y'all that have been there can suggest? - Sandy

Follow the Freedom Trail, starting at Boston Commons,
The Mayor's Office of Tourism, Sports, and Entertainment supports the tourism industry in Boston by producing events, supporting film and TV production, and marketing the City to conventions and visitors.
You can get a trail map at the kiosk there. About 3/4 the way through the trail, check out Durgin Park restaurant at Faneuil Hall. They are noted for their sassy waitresses.
Budget about 4 hours strolling and take a water bottle.

Chuck, I've been all over Europe and even to Africa. I tried for the longest time to stay South of the Mason-Dixon though. From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."

Well, no pics yet due to the bulk of my camera. We got here about 5:30pm and our hotel is awesome! We went up to the club room for dinner and the view is incredible. You look out on the Charles River and you can see the whole city from Fenway Park to the Boston Commons. Watched the sunset from there and it was just beautiful. Doing the Freedom Trail tomorrow morning and eatin' some seafood for lunch. Don't worry, I brought some Tony's with me.
