Pirates Cove Area

I am planning to take my nephew fishing. He is afraid to wade. Are there any spots around Pirates cove to fish from the bank? I was planning on going early this Sunday morning. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Fish off the bank in Lake Como there in Pirates Beach. I've caught trout, redfish, and flounder in Como.

Whats the best access? Christmas tree in pirates cove? What about Eckert Bayou

Heck I don't know anywhere really, get there at dawn or dusk.

If you enter the State Park ( you pay about $5.00 per person, I believe) then you can fish a half dozen different places in the bays/lakes that parallel the park roads.

The very end of the Eastern-most road is probably where Kenny was referring you. It ends at the North end of Lake Como. I do not know what time the Park opens, however.
