  • Calm Wind & Rain Showers This Morning

I haven't heard any thunder or seen any lightning yet but it's raining now and more scattered showers offshore.
Might be a good day to go to the movies!

I heard it is supposed to flood again on the coast. Damn, I am in Austin and can't leave right now. Oh well, I will wade home tomorrow or Friday

I'll be headed in tomorrow from Austin too. Looking at the tides the highest is just over 3 feet where the highest with the hurricane a week ago was 4.1feet. I think the island will be ok. Jsut watch the low water areas becasue the highr than normal water levels are still here. As of this morning I had about 2" of water over my bulk head and I have one of the higher lots in Jamaica Beach

Thanks for the feedback. I will watch out for that high water.

The people renting the house next door went to SLP first thing this morning and came back with 5 limits of trout. Nice size too.
