  • Does anyone want to go and pop a few rounds Sunday at the Clear Creek Gun Range?

I'm getting the itch to go.
I'm thinking a big bore revolver, semi auto 40 cal or 9mm and a Charger or MKIII...
Wille, constable or anyone else for session Sunday?
    PM me.

Bert,a MKIII wouldnt be a British Enfield 303 would it.I have my great grandfathers 1915 Enfield in the closet.Missing the clip though, lost it in a move a few years ago.Brass buttplate and kicks like a mule.Accurate old gun.

I'm sorry Mark. I was referring to a Ruger Mark 3 in .22 cal.
Can you load the Enfield one round at a time? I'm pretty sure you can
find a clip for it on "Gun Broker".com

Yea man, ... It goes something like this. Dan Wesson was the original partner to Smith & Wesson
But there was a conflict and the two names parted ways. The original company got to keep the Wesson name and
Then Dan started his own business. Dan Wessons are a high quality American product but the original brand name of S&W carries significant brand recognition.
I'd love to have a stainless Dan Wesson .44 mag revolver!
What model Wesson did you inherit?
Anyone can feel free to correct me on the facts of the two companies but I am fairly sure I'm in the right ballpark with the story.

Yeh i can load one round at a time, that's about all you want to quickly. When my eyes were better, like 15yrs ago i could group 5 inside 3in at 125yds open sights.I'm lucky to hit inside 10in now.I've got a little 22 magnum Marlin that's a pretty accurate, but lots of fun and cheap to shoot.I will check gunbroker to check on a clip thanks.

Bert, I'd like to make a trip to the range but I had a hot water heater bust the other day so I don't want to stray too far from the house while all these fans and dehumidifiers are running. Catch you next time.
