    how high do you think the tides will be with alex? 2 feet?

    This is saying 3.3 to 4.5 above normal possible

      I was down there in West the day before that last big tropical storm hit several years back and the tides were HUGE. I would expect the same if this thing gets relatively close.

        Hope under 3'. If over 3', a lotta boats will be floating around the canals.

          wondering if i should pull the boat out or just raise it? my first storm since i moved, trying to get a feel for what to do. guess i'll do what the neighbors do.

            I'd watch and see and if it even starts to get close to "sticking" in the lift (i.e., clearance to get outta lift), then pull it, if you have that luxury; otherwise, pull it out-sure would be bad to crush the windshield or grabrail! I have about 4' of clearance on Skeeter. My Robalo has about 2.5' before I have problems. TS Francis sunk my boat that Ike took-of course we had 5' tides and in Sea isle the streets were all under water. That was the worst flooding before Ike.
