i have used berkley big game for the longest and havent really had problem wit it but i just started using trilene xl and it seams to cast farther even though its not as smooth. I fish near lots of reefs for trout and reds with line would you recommend.

Ive tried both and prefer the xl.I got all my reels spooled with xl.

I use Andie most of the time but when i splurge i go with Sufix and i can tell i get longer cast from the Sufix line...

P-line cx mono is what I use after trying many lines.

p line is smooth but it breaks a little easy to me and suffix is good its just higher and floats a little like braid.

I like big game versus xl for its overall strength especially around shell. 12 lb
I also use big game on my offshore reels as well.

Big Game, just change it out every couple of trips. I never have any issues.
