Im interested in a report to, let us know.
Im getting old and sissyfied or wise, but I try to go no deeper than my calf in the surf at night. The idea of a shallow running large man eater in the surf creeps me out for a night time wade.

Got in the water around 2:45 fished for about an hour and a half with nothing to show. There was good tide movement and the wind was manageable out out the south southwest. Threw tops plastics and mirrolures. Went and took a break and went back out around 5:30. The wind went completely calm at sunrise and the water was green but had some sandyness mixed in. Once again threw everything. Reeltime caught some real small ones on a spoon and I had a few blowups and caught a sandy on a top. Around 7:45 or 8 big pods of mullet moved in and I managed a nice 17 incher on a top. Missed a few more small blowups. There was tons of mullet but nothing was hammering em. Tried a few other baits but ended up empty. Decided to call it quits and get some work done on the canal house. The surf still looks like a lake and I'm gonna keep an eye on it and try this evening although the tide will be going
out. I just can't believe that we ended up practically empty handed considering how calm it was and with such a strong
high tide. I'm running on only 2 hrs of sleep, I can't believe I'm still awake.

Nice report. Betcha that sunrise was pretty, with the calm water and all.
