ok so me and my dad wake up around 5. go outside and put the rods in the boat and soon as we step out the axel broke. so we couldnt fish dollar point anymore. we jus got some live shrimp and fished outside the floodgate. we lost about 3 rigs in less than 15 minutes so we went to highland bayou i caught one schoolie speck using free lined shrimp and that was it. there was a ton of bait in the water getting spooked but i think there were probably just more small trout because i tried a topwater but nothing hit it.
