Thieves!!!

My brother was outta town last weekend and someone apparently tried to steal his yammie waverunner-they cut the rope (it is in a waverunner lift that swings over bulkhead) and messed with it some.

Watch out for the thieves. With the bad economy and looks like it's gonna get worse, thieving jerks are on the rise. I did not go by his place last weekend, except by boat and didn't stop. Nothing damaged, just messed with.

It was most likely local kids. Schools out and most aren't supervised very well if at all. It would have been gone if real thieves wanted it.
BTW shooting someone over a jet ski would be a bad decision for a lot of reasons and hopefully just inet bravado.

Yea, I notices alot of kids running around on the steets way past dark in Sea Isle this past week. I use to see them driving around on the golf carts alot but I guess with the new laws I didn't see that at all this year. Now they are on foot.

It was likely kids but that ain't an excuse. Thier mom and dad need a butt wipping.

Also it wasn't that many years ago we was hangin them for stealing chickens, horses and cows. From the way I see it cars, boats and yes jet skis are worth a lot more then those critters. We work hard to buy things that theives take and the police sure aren't stopping them or catching them. So what should a man do, just let them walk, get the insurance and let it all start over again????????

As long as we just roll over to them, they will keep stealing. How many times has calling the cops helped????? Very few theives get caught, and even less property is returned. Sure calling the insurance gets you some money, but in the long run it means you've paid twice for the item stolen, and it makes not only your rates go up, it makes mine and everyone elses as well. If people don't start standing up and fighting back, heck we might as well just give up and become soicalist!!!!!!

As far as shooting some one, well it not something I want to do, but will if necessary and by Texas law it is justified in the protection of life and property. As far as ruining the lives of the thief and his family, I could care less. If they had been upstanding folks they would have taught thier kids better. Feeling sorry for crooks is what has gotten us in this mess in the first place.

BTW I hope they shoot back, it makes it that much more justified. Oh and I guess you've never seen me shoot......
