  • Christmas 6/11

Fished Christmas today with a few friends. the bay was tore up and looked like chocolate so we hit the south shoreline.

We waded a few spots on the s.shore and nothing. The water looked great over the grass but looked like crap further out. As the tide started to move out, it started pulling the green water with it. As the muddy bay streaked with green water, you could make out the topography of the bottom. The green water followed the guts out into the open bay

As the green water funneled into the muddy bay, trout slick started to pop up inside the funnels. Most slick only held dinks but two held trout over 21".

It was a rough day on the water today, but it feels good to pull a few good ones out in bad conditions.
