AADE Tourney on June 4

Team 49 did not win-we thought we had a chance with a 26-27 inch red, but nooo. All those Jetty fishermen kicked us outta any chance to win. We fished south shoreline and Chocolate-3 reds, 3 trout-the trout were dinks-16-18". Winds kept changing which made it tough.

Thanks Mike-I shoulda had you (or Donna, ha ha) on our team-maybe then we'd have won. BTW, we hit "your" spot and caught one red there (croaker) and one guy waded the reef and had a nice trout on croaker, but as he heard from us in the boat: "Ya horsed her!!" and she was gone-she was likely 4#s and that was small at the weigh-in and would not have won.

yep, that spot looked good for the crummy winds we had. On Saturday I fished a different area-was in Chocolate drifting reefs for fun and caught a 27" red-now she might've made some $, but a day late and a dollar short!!

Here is half of the fish we caught. Our idiots didnt make the weigh-in in time go figure. She was right 5lbs and 5.1 was in the money if I remember right. Anyway we won some door prizes and had a great time.
