Early surf wade Sunday

just got back from surfside....it was peopled out....stacked up like fence posts. wind was lite, but from the sw. water color went bad fast.
picked up 2 trout 3 whiting all on plastic. when i left i went over the pass to galveston and road the seawall all the way to broadway...tons of people on the seawall at 930 am..now i remember why i dont go out on holidays...
nice to sea the island busy though...good for the people who make a livin from it...

Well we meet up wit Kevin and his wife around 0700 @ BP# 10. Looked ok at first, wind from the SW was light but had the water brown / brown. No green water in casting distance and the folks just keep piling in. Did see a few small keeper Trout caught by live bait throwers. Just a few bumps for us, kevin did manage a whiting with his Silver Spoon.

Man I was and still beat up a long night working Sat and then go and get caught up in all that mess. We left early around 12, the traffic coming to the island was at a near stand still all the way back to the Beltway..
Once again today I just bet it will be the same way, glad I'm back at work.. well kinda, $$ day
