Depends on year, mint and condition. Morgans were pretty dang common. Call or hit a coin shop. They can be worth an ounce of silver or big bucks."Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

It has a month, day, and year on it? Is it etched in there?
In general as Robalo said, most Morgans are only worth their weight in silver. If it has a CC (Carson City) mint mark, it may be worth something big. If it has an O (New Orleans) mint mark, then I want it as I collect them.
You can see if it has a mint mark by looking on the back under the eagle's tail feathers.

New Orleans minted coins are unfortunately not very rare, and therefore not very valuable. At least that makes it easy for me to collect. Now San Francisco minted (S) coins can bring a good premium. Silver is up to what now guys? I would never sell coins for the silver value. They're works of art. My favorite dollar coin is the Peace dollar. Lady Liberty looks freakin' hot on the Peace dollar.

I could, but my book is about 10 years old. You can buy a book and grade them yourself with a magnifying glass. Of course people are very into OFFICIAL grading services these days. You pay a premium for them and if your coin is not OFFICIALLY graded, then few people want to buy them. This snobbery is what really pushed me out of the hobby. Coins are generally not worth much if they have any wear on them at all. They need to be MS (Mint State), unless they are a rare coin.
To give you an idea how much little variations can make a difference. The most valuable modern penny is a 1909-S V.D.B. Penny. I once found a 1909 V.D.B penny in my mom's change jar. Alas it wasn't an S, so it was worth $1 instead of $10,000.

Here's the book you need. Mine I believe is the 1997 version.
