This was a fish my brother caught when we were fishing this monday in Lafitte. The fish was a perfect 28" and was 12.5#s on the boga. I have never in my life seen a 28er come anywhere CLOSE to this kind of weight.
I told my brother to take lots of pics, because he wont ever see a fish that fat again lol
I caught a little 27" that was 9#s and his made mine look like a dink.

The pic on the table says it all. My brothers fish is the second one, the first one is the 9#er I had.
The last pic was yesterdays fishing in Hopedale.. I sure hope the oil doesnt spoil the LA fishery forever. It is one of the last true places that is amazing every time you go there.
