  • The wonderful rain

It has been so long since we had any rain. It'll all be alright. This storm is very noisey and lots of lightening. I am so awake right now. Not exactly by choice. Got two dogs in my lap too. It'll all be okay....

We need it in a bad way. It was so nice to get it yesterday. We were getting pounded all night last night too.

I was supposed to be hauling arse across the bay right now -- but I think my yard needed rain worse than I needed to fish this morning.
        Shut up and FISH!!

Yep, we needed the rain badly....a small glitch for fishing but worth it.

            the wind slowed down too!
the fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad.

We had a father/Son campout at GISP last night. I set up camp at 3:30 and I tore camp down in the torrential downpour and headed home at 10pm. I had to drive 30 all the way home and when I got there I still had about 1' of water in the boat.
