  • Lost Air Motor Propeller

Tuesday night myself and two guys from Texas Parks and Wildlife went out and harvested live flounder for their restoration project. Under unfavorable conditions we managed to capture 3 flounder. We lost the air motor propeller after pulling the boat out of the water (Sea Isle’s public ramp) and going to my house on Kent. I am hoping someone found their propeller so I can return it asap.

    Thanks

I haven't seen it but got a question? Are you saying the prop came unbolted from the hub or the hub came unbolted from the shaft and just fell of during the tow?
Is it a possibility someone stole it over night on Kent?

Not that much different than a Karankawa indian hunting the shallows at night with a torch and a spear.

I agree with Bert. If y'all used it that night and it fell off later in tow, that's a pretty frightening situation thinking it could have come off while running. I hate to say it, but I'd think it had to be stolen too.

Here is the situation: Ran the fan all night no problems at all (the boat has only been used twice so its brand new). I got an e-mail from the guys I took out this morning saying “ I think the air prop fell off between the ramp and my house on Kent”. After fishing we went to my house and directly left from there. They went back to their place of work and released the flounder. Those are the details I know.
