When i went to cut the breaker off at a job.....like holy sheet scared the owl piss out of me ......ho told me it's a screze owl...pretty cool sitting there and didn't move the whole time i was working there.......i think it was guarding mamma owl's nest in the tree.

That is a great pic. Owls are fantastic creatures. I have always been curious about them. We used to have a couple of barn owls that cruised the area regularly but not since Ike.

That is a kewl pic and it is also great that we are starting to see more and more owls and hawks again. We have a hoot owl that comes and sets in the big tree in the back yard from time to time. He is a big boy and I've tried to get a picture of him but no success yet.

The rodent population takes a dive during the time our neighborhood owl rotates through his roosts near the house. The stray cats tend to suspend their stalking about this time, too.
