POC Warrior's Weekend, May 22

As many of you know, on May 22, 2010 the Wounded Warrior project is hosting a fishing tournament for wounded soldiers. The event will take place in Port O' Connor, TX. I just got off of the phone w/ Kelly Parks who is in charge of the captain's and boat volunteers. They are expecting 350 wounded soldiers at this years event. They still need to find boat and captains. I told Kelly that I thought I could get at LEAST 10 boats and captains. I would hope that as a group we can double that as they still need about 50 boats. Please try to find it in your heart to help out if you can.

This is what I know -

Captains need to check in Friday night or Saturday morning at Froggies Bait Camp
Captain need to secure a " deck-hand or helper" for the event
Boats will leave around 9:00 am on Saturday morning from Froggies.
Shrimp and snacks will be provided for boats
Captains need to have boat, fuel, rods, reels, tackle and any soft drinks (water and snacks will be provided)
Each boat should have a captain and a "hand" as many of the soldiers require a great deal of assistance.
NO ALCOHOL - special request from the Army as many of the soldiers are on strong medications.

I know we all have busy schedules but if you think you can fit in it, it will be greatly appreciated.
